Autotuner is a universal tool that can read data from most commercially available ECUs and microcontrollers in the Boot Tricore Infineon (BSL) format or via the OBD diagnostic port. Autotuner

What is the difference between a master and slave tool?
Master tool
With a master tool, you receive unencrypted files that you can edit yourself or send to a tuning file provider.
Any editing software that supports binary files can be used to edit a file read with Autotuner.
Slave tool
With a slave tool, you read and write encrypted files. These files can only be edited by a specific master. This master is a file provider that was specified when the tool was purchased. Your slave tool is linked to this master.
Any slave tool can be remotely converted to a master tool provided the following conditions are met:
Your master agrees to the conversion (we need written permission from the current master).

1. First remove the engine control unit (ECU) from your vehicle’s engine.
2. Do not open the engine control unit.
3. Reading and writing are done via a test bench.
Boot Method
This method requires opening the engine control unit. The connection is made via the engine control unit’s printed circuit board (PCB).
